VRS F18 Superbug dans les starting block

Bon ben voila, dans quelques heures au plus l'oiseau devrait prendre son envol... En attendant voici les recommendations de l'équipe VRS :
The Supebug has NOT been released yet.
Barring any massive disasters at this point, we are still on schedule for release today, April, 8th. HOWEVER, and as I mentioned in a previous thread, we are going to the line on this, and that means as late as 11:59AM Pacific Standard Time (GMT-8).
We want you all to be aware of the system requirements and prepare for installation:
1) Make sure you are running FSX with a minimum of SP2. However we recommend Acceleration or FSX Gold. The FILE version number for SP2 is 10.0.61472.0. The FILE version for Acceleration/X-pack is 10.0.61637.0. You can verify your version by right-clicking the FSX exe and selecting Details. Look for the File version.
If you do not have at least SP2 installed and do not have acceleration installed, SP2 can be downloaded here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... 41a3e27ff0 Do not install SP2 over a higher version, so please check your version numbers if you're not sure.
2) Make sure FSUIPC for FSX is installed and RUNNING. FSUIPC can be downloaded here: http://fsuipc.simflight.com/beta/FSUIPC4.zip It is FREE for the non-registered version. If you want more features (lots more features), please support Pete by buying the registered version.
The current FSUIPC version for FSX is 4.60. This must be installed and verified before installing the Superbug. So once it's installed, run FSX and look for FSUIPC to appear in the "Add-ons" menu at the far right of the menubar in flight. Unless you see it, FSUIPC isn't running. If you think you installed it correctly and it's not showing up, please visit the FSUIPC support forums here: http://forums.simflight.com/viewforum.php?f=54
The Superbug will literally crash if FSUIPC is not running.
3) Make sure General Realism in FSX is set to FULL (all the way to the right). General Realism can be found under Realism Settings and is the only option that MUST be set to high. This controls the flight modeling enumeration, and all records must be full resolution or aircraft shimmy will occur.
4) Make sure you have at least .NET 3.0 installed. If you're running Vista or Win7 32/64, you most likely already have it installed, as it's part of the OS. Unless you knowingly removed it, it's there. If you're running XP, you may need to download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en
5) The software will appear as a download link from your customer page here. If the link isn't there, the software isn't ready. You login for your customer page is in your sales invoice.
6) After the software is downloaded, you will need to install it into your FSX root directory. The installer will automatically attempt to find the correct install location via the registry. if for any reason the install location is a BLANK line, the installer was unable to find your FSX installation, probably due to a corrupt registry entry. In that case, you should exit the installer and run the Flight1 registry repair tool for FSX here: http://www.flight1software.com/files/FS ... Repair.exe. You should NEVER have to manually select the FSX root directory. If you do, and you do it wrong, your installation will fail and you'll need to start over by uninstalling and reinstalling. Let the installer find FSX!
7) After installation is complete, you will need to activate the ACM software using the License ID and password in your sales invoice. Once activated and registered, the ACM will download the remaining installation files. If for any reason you can't activate automatically, use the Manual activation method on the activation screen by selecting option 2, followed by option 3. If for any reason you can't download the software, we will provide a mirrored link in the FSX support forum, which will open shortly.
8) You must run the ACM and activate prior to flight. No ACM activation = FSX crash. Once the ACM is up and running, you may notice errors under control preferences if you haven't flow the aircraft yet. These are NORMAL. The ACM is just telling you you need to fly the aircraft so it can find your controllers.
9) Known Issues. It is currently necessary to reload the aircraft if a livery is selected OTHER THAN the the first livery which is chosen in the FSX aircraft preview. This is only tru when switching liveries in PREVIEW. Changing aircraft in flight is not a problem. In other words, if you change the livery, you'll need to reload the aircraft from the FSX FILE menu AFTER the flight starts. Why? We don't know yet. The model is extremely code-complex and it looks like FSX isn't properly reinitializing model code after a livery switch. The best we can determine is it's related to the number of model attachpoints.
This problem manifests itself in different ways, but the most common is a stuck set of strobe lights once the flight starts. - Just reload the aircraft and you're gtg.
