When using the pinky switch on the HSD as SOI to get an EXP1 or 2, Then using DMS down to set the SOI back to the FCR, the HSD return to NORM instead of keeping the EXP mode.
during the degress the package choosed to land at the alternate landing field, after having selected the right waypoint the leader tried to contact the tower at a distance of less than 20 Nm ( the nav mode was on nav ) the tower told us that we were outside its airbase.
we only succeeded to have the authorisation by switching to tacan mode and entering the tacan frequency of the alternate field

You are right Nayfe, this is not a bug, I have checked in the MLU manual and it is said:Nayfe a écrit :i think it's the way it works for real
And this is why I have been misleaded: because then the OSB 3 should be blank when the HSD is not the SOI but in the game you can still use the OSB 3 to expand the map even when the HSD is not the SOI and this is not correct !!The expand rotary is NORM, Expand
(EXP)1, EXP2 and is only available when the HSD is the
SOI.
When the SOI is moved to another display, the HSD reverts to a normal format and the
mnemonic at OSB 3 blanks.
when installing a new patch over an existing install, the connection speed settings usually reset to 33.6/33.6. i don't know if this is still a case with 106 (havent installed yet).
in short, have you guys made sure that the speed settings were correct?
