Campagne TheBigShow par DF Lion

Il s'agit d'une nouvelle campagne, par DF Lion, les anglophones auront reconnu dans son titre la version anglaise du "Grand Cirque", par Pierre Clostemann.
Cette campagne a été mis à disposition initialement sur Mission4today et sur SFM:

DF Lion m'a aussi demandé s'il était posible de créer un lien sur ce site. Ne connaissant pas le français, il n'a pas réussi à faire la demande lui-même...
La traduction en français des briefing est en cours...

I already downloaded it, and will play it soon. I found that Pierre Clostermann's "The Big Show" is very popular with our British friends, and also New Zealanders. Last year I met an helicopter pilot from New Zealand. He told me he read both "The Big Show", and "Flames in the Sky" (Feux du Ciel) with passion. He later told me that he had an uncle called Harold LONGLEY, with whom Pierre CLOSTERMANN did fly at the end of the war. Later, I actually found his name in "The Big Show". So many pilots were happy to be mentioned in this internationally acclaimed book.

When I play the campaign, I surely will think about Pierre CLOSTERMANN, Harold LONGLEY, Ken CHARNEY, René MOUCHOTTE, Jacques REMLINGER and all his famous other friends from the RAF.

Long virtual life to our aces from the RAF!

Vincent, I was very interested to hear about Harold Longley who certainly flew with Pierre.
I hope you all enjoy this campaign, as I enjoyed making it. My father gave me the book 'The Big Show' when I was young - Pierre was my boyhood hero.
When Oleg Maddox introduced IL2 Sturmovik, I thought that 'The Big Show' would be the best subject for a campaign.

Pour les personnes ayant quelque mal avec l'anglais, la traduction des "briefings" sera mise en ligne au fur et à mesure ici.. (je ne veux pas passer trop de temps à copier-coller sur les trois sites concernés - SFM, PF officiel et C6.)

Bien entendu, une fois terminé, ce sera mis en ligne de la manière habituelle.

For person getting trouble with the briefings in English, the translations will be placed here., as soon as made. (I don't want to spend too much time pasting and copying in the three concerned sites - SFM, official PF and C6.)

C'est un fichier image qui permet d'afficher un nouveau font d'écran dans le menue campagne: RAF, un Tempest en l'occurrence!
Il te suffit de renommé le fichier: Tempest1.tga (ou Tempest2.tga) en: background.tga (tu peut fair un copier/coller) puis tu le copie dans le dossier: Missions > Campaign > GB
Et c'est tous bon:yes:

The 'Tempest pics folder' was included only for a campaign 'header picture' when the campaign was first posted on Mission4Today.com - they are not part of the actual campaign.
