Operation Bodenplatte
Date: January 1st, 1945
The German Luftwaffe launches Operation Bodenplatte, a last desperate attempt to break loose the Ardennes Offensive that had been halted at Bastogne. Approximately 800 German fighters are sent to attack 15 allied forward air bases. At some bases the Luftwaffe attack is devastating, destroying aircraft and rendering airstrips useless. At other fields only a few fighters found their targets and damage was minimal. But here at Asch the result was unlike anything the Luftwaffe had imagined. The attack on the Asch airbases were a total disaster. When the 11th Jagdgeschwader reached the bases they found P-47 Thunderbolts, of the 366th Fighter Squadron, circling the fields and P-51 Mustangs, of the 352nd Fighter Group, just taking off. This battle was only one of many battles that took place on that fateful New Year's day in 1945.
Operation Dobodura – RAAF / US Joint Attack Mission
April: 1944 / Weather: Clear / Clouds: 1500 / Time: 17:00 hours
Good Evening Gentlemen......A naval intelligence submarine has reported a large enemy naval surface group heading to the Buna Mission area. This force is comprised of large destroyers and supply vessels. It looks like the enemy is trying to re-supply their ground forces in response to General Kenney's push north. To attack this naval group we are launching two separate air squadrons. We must destroy this convoy if General Kenney is to maintain his pressure on the enemy and advance north.
Historical mission flown in the New Guinea Theather of Operations.
Date: January, 1943 / Weather: Clear / Clouds: 1500 / Time: 17:00 hours

Operation Jerico – Amiens Prison Mission
February: 18th, 1944
No. 21 Squadron (Mosquito) will conduct a low-level attack on Amiens Prison in northern enemy-occupied France. The aim of this raid is to free members of the French Resistance, 12 of whom are due to be executed tomorrow. This mission is vitally important as some of the prisoners have intimate knowledge of Operation Overlord, the forth-coming invasion of France. If the enemy can extract this information the results could be catastrophic.

Good Morning Gentlemen........This morning we are striking enemy bridges near the town of Isigny. There are a total of four bridges as our targets. Each section will take a bridge. Ensure your aircraft is armed with 2x500 lbs bombs and rockets. Once you have destroyed the bridges, you are free to hunt enemy trains and convoys. Intelligence reports that the coast is littered with AA as well as near the target area. Enemy planes are also a threat.

Operation Wake Island

Date: October 5th, 1943 / Time: 06:30 hours
Good Morning Gentlemen.......This morning we are going back to Wake Island. As you know the Japanese captured Wake early in the war. The Marines and civilians that were captured have suffered greatly at the hands of their captures. Now it is our turn to return the favor. This morning's mission is to fly a sweep over the island and reduce thier number of combat aircraft. Naval intelligence has reported that the Japanese do have radar, this means they will know we are coming.
