Nice work Twix1001:yes:
By any chance will you be making the normal twin seater combat capable trainer of the Mirage 2000 like Mirage 2000TH? How different was the "N" variant from the "D" variant?

this has to be decided. Nothing is set yet. However, there might be a possibility that we release the TH version.ghostrider883 a écrit :Nice work Twix1001:yes:

Regarding the second question, we created the D version as well. This just entailed the upgrade fron the N model to the D one by adding a few more antennas and getting rid of the pitot.
NB: Merci de ton travail Twixx.

anyway if you re talking about differences in the real life . The N variant N for Nuclear was created to be a nuclear strike vector with The ASMP missile . this version includes a ground targeting radar for very low altitude penetration .ghostrider883 a écrit :Nice work Twix1001:yes:

The D version was created in order to wait for the Rafale from the jaguar s end of servicing and the rafale appearance in forces . it was build with an antilope radar and a dedicated lasering pod . as well as the D version the N version can deliver classical bomb .
hope that it helps you

The D variant is shorter than the N.ghostrider883 a écrit :Nice work Twix1001:yes:
How different was the "N" variant from the "D" variant?
D: 14,36m
N: 14,94m
Each variant is able to release almost all Air-Ground weapon used by Armée de l'air. The difference is that only N variant can release ASMP wich is a nuclear Air Ground missile (that's why the aircraft is called 2000N, N as Nuclear), nulear dissuasion is it's main role, and only D variant can release laser guided weapon.
Le 2000D est plus court donc plus trappu, ce qui explique que ce soit le plus beau des 2000...

I Haven't done this 3D model, Apache mainly done it, I'm modifying it to enable the possibility to have textures.
The N Variant is longer because of the pitot tube placed in front of the nose. Also, the main difference with the "D" resume to the avionics, the "D" variant have more capable avionics and have ability to carry more weapon types (mainly ground strike and last generation weapons).

Thanks for the replies guys:yes:
In the IAF, Mirage 2000s have been assigned the nuclear strike role, as the Jaguars and MiG-27s were considered not capable enough.
And Apache1106, I am glad to know that you may work on a TH version .The TH variant I think was similar to the D variant and H was similar to C variant.
Like the single seater H variant, IAF Mirage 2000THs played a vital role in dislodging Pakistani intruders from Kargil heights. A typical strike mission by Mirage 2000s comprised of four Mirage 2000Hs from No. 7 Sqdn "Battle Axes" loaded up with dumb bombs closely followed by a dual seat Mirage 2000TH loaded with a single 1000-lb Matra LGB on the centerline station. The formation would formate with fighter escort MiG-29s of No. 223 Sqdn "Tridents" or Mirage 2000Hs of No. 1 Sqdn "Tigers". The single seat Mirages would drop their bomb load on the target, If the Hs missed the target or did not damage it sufficiently , the Mirage 2000TH would come in and drop the LGB to completely destroy the target. The LDPs used by IAF Mirage 2000s were Atlis and Israeli Litening LDPs.
In fact, of the Nine LGBs dropped in Kargil War, only one was dropped by a Jaguar IS of No. 27 Sqdn, the rest eight were dropped by Mirage 2000s.

Thanks for the story ghostrider.
Le mapping est bientôt terminé, il ne reste plus que les parties extérieures des aérofreins, les cônes de choc et le compartiment du train avant.
