Réponse reçue à une demande de prix pour un manche de F-18 :
Hello,
We recently quoted out a military job for flight stick at $4,860 to the royal Air Force of a European country.
Let me see what I can do for you for a scratch & Dent "demilitarized" unit -- if you really want.
Your best bet is to take a raw casting and populate it with cougars switches. (It costs a lot of time and money to wait 12 weeks for OTTO switches and they are $285 a pop)
Military grade castings alone are going to run about $700 in the finished form -- taking hours of work, however if you are willing to do your own flash trimming (with a Dremel tool), filling with epoxy (JB weld), sanding and painting, and fitting with metal threaded connectors, I can sell you one for:
Grade A unit: $250 no air bubbles
Grade B unit: $175 tiny air bubbles that should go away with paint, minor repairable defects
Shipping to Europe is about $30-$35
The differences in the grades are shown in the enclosed pictures. Flashing is present on the grade B unit in the last pic. but it cleans up to what you see in the first pics.
John
Ce qui nous amènerait pour un moulé avec petites bulles et défauts mineurs, et l'envoi pour la france un total de 200$, soit à peu prés 140€ au cour de ces derniers jours.
