je ne crois pas que l'on ai déjà évoqué ce produit ici...
c'est une sorte d'écran sphérique qui permet d'être ds l'écran....

Ca a l'air très intéressant !! Même si je ne comprends pas un point : l'article de PCinpact parle de 6.000 USD pour l'achat (ce qui me paraît cher, mais ce genre de produit de niche est toujours très cher), tandis que le site du constructeur parle de 150-200 euros (ce qui, pour le coup, me paraît peu cher ).

peut-être ce prix (200€) ne correspond qu'au prix de l'écran (coupole) ? Il faut encore y ajouter le projecteur et autre logiciels ? Les 6000$ correspondent à l'achat d'un prototype. Voir article ci-dessous.

It's a pretty obvious concept, really: take a semi-transparent dome and project an image on it. Then, stand in the middle and surround yourself with 180-degrees of gaming action. John Nilsson went and patented the concept and is now developing the jDome with an estimated cost of around $125-200. We have some serious reservations about this system, though. That $125-200 pre-order price tag doesn't come with a projector and you'll have to tweak your games' field of view setting to work with the round shape of the dome. What's more, the product assumes you're going to spend your game time standing in front of a dome. Criticisms aside, you can buy a prototype for a bit more -- $6,000 to be exact. Relis l'article de PCInpact en entier
