La RAF doit garder ses C-130J un peu plus longtemps, trois mois, suite à des problèmes de dispo avec ses A400.
Le retrait, pour raisons de coupes budgétaires, est prévu en 2023.

LONDON–The UK Royal Air Force has extended the life of its Lockheed Martin C-130J Hercules airlifters for another three months as it attempts to overcome shortfalls in availability of its Airbus A400M fleet.

But the retirement decision has been widely criticized by observers who say that the A400M will not be able to undertake all the tasks of the C-130J.

Several A400Ms are on the ground at RAF Brize Norton without propellers due to shortages. Others are undergoing a retrofit process. The level of availability changes on a daily and weekly basis.

sept on déjà retrouvé un repreneur dont un pour les blue angels

: four to Bangladesh (ZH881, ZH882 ZH884 and ZH887), two to Bahrain (ZH880 and ZH886) and one to the United States (ZH885, which became the new “Fat Albert” with the famous US Navy Demonstration Squadron “Blue Angels”).
