--->Operation Codename: Tinkerbell
Gen. McCalley's NATO forces have cut-off Gen. Sergi's mechanized battalion, isolating
his forces on a Norwegian peninsula. Gen. Sergi's forces have broken through the
Allied lines to the east to a neutral harbor area and have commandeered three
civilian ferryboats in a desperate escape attempt. They are trying to escape across
the fjord with their surviving vehicles, troops and equipment.
Cobra One Flight has been assigned Interdiction Strike and is required to destroy
the avenue of escape by neutralizing the ferryboats and then eliminating the enemy's
combat capability by hitting a rear area supply area and units that have made it
across the fjord. Collateral damage to the surrounding civilian structures, vehicles,
and ships should be limited to the commandeered civilian ferryboats alone - if possible.
Use the FLIR to identify your targets.
Manta Four Flight has been assigned SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses) and is
required to proceed the strike package and eliminate SAM and AAA enemy defenses.

Note: Cobra One Flight is not carrying SEAD weapons - do not get
to the target area before Manta Four Flight! You may want to
keep Corba One Three's loading set at default so you have some
HARM capability.
Recovery: CVN-76 Carrier Reagan or Danak Divert Airbase
You may select either Flight -A- Interdiction Strike or Flight -B- SEAD.
You are to launch from the Carrier Reagan at 0630 hours and proceed to the target area
via assigned waypoints, altitudes, and airspeeds (use the Data Button on the HSI MFD).
All speeds are given in ground speed as read on the HSI. It is imperative that the MIG
CAP and SEAD packages arrive at the target prior to the STRIKE package. Each flight
will locate, target, and eliminate their designated target(s). Boa One flight will be
in reserve and launched 15 minutes into the mission. All aircraft should recover back
to the Reagan for landing. If damage is sustained, recover to the divert airbase.
Good luck and good hunting!
This mission should provide a challenging experience - I hope you like it! Winning on
the first attempt is possible - perhaps not likely - but possible! Use all your resources
like wingmen, support aircraft, etc. wisely. . If you should find this mission a little
too easy - increase the number of enemy fighters by one of each type and prepare yourself
for an "ass-kicking"!
