Pardon - my French is not very good at all - so I have to translate everything via Google which sometimes ends up with strange results -
I am posting regarding my post about the Multimedia release of Vlamgat (book by Gen Lord about the SAAF Mirage F1).... I see it has been closed (topic) and that some folk were concerned that I should not be poting this type of message in the forum...
I am a bit shocked by that attitude I must admit.
1. It took so many months to complete the book project, and I wanted people to get some background to the Angolan conflict before playing the Angolan Theatre.
2. It is about the history of one of France's most famous aircraft.
3. Very few people know about the South Africans involvement in the debelopment and testing of the Mirage F1AZ.
I apologise if I have offended anybody here indeed - I thought the news would be welcomed by the French aviation community and Mirage lovers.
Guess I was wrong indeed
